Why We Do This
The Giosi WOD is more than a fitness competition — it’s our tribute to Jeff Giosi, whose life embodied faith, compassion, service, and community. As a devoted husband, father, firefighter, coach, athlete, and friend, Jeff inspired countless people. Though he passed unexpectedly on January 23, 2021, his spirit lives on through this annual event and the lives we touch in his name.
This year, marking five years since Jeff’s passing, we honor him with the Giosi WOD and carry forward his mission by funding Warrior Heart — because every rep, every dollar, and every act of preparedness can save a life.
What Is The Giosi WOD?
Support Warrior Heart — Save Lives
Your $25 registration does more than register you for a WOD: it helps fund free CPR and First Aid training across our area, supplies AEDs for public spaces and local organizations, and allows us to train new instructors. With your help, we’re empowering everyday people to become everyday heroes — ready to act in moments of crisis.
By registering today, you stand with us to honor Jeff’s legacy and build a stronger, safer, more connected community.
